Car accidents happen very frequently but usually leave a lasting effect. A car accident is part of an endless list of problems on the road. Car accidents can happen to drivers anytime, anywhere. Personal injury sustained from a car accident is becoming a major legal case in the country. In general, about twenty million people die or become injured due to car accidents each year nationwide. Among the car accidents, the teenage group is the only age group whose number of deaths is increasing instead of decreasing. Car accidents are caused mainly by drunken drivers, using cellular phones while driving, and the lack of experience of teenage drivers.

Firstly, drinking and driving is the leading cause of car accidents. Driving while drinking increases our self-confidence, but lowers the driving ability and performance. In short, alcohol decreases the decision making ability of the brain. When people get drunk, they do not even think they are drunk. They may feel like they can do anything, but they cannot. Many accidents occur because of drinking. People have to be educated about drinking and driving, so they do not kill themselves or innocent people on the road.

Secondly, using cell phones while driving causes serious car accidents. When a cell phone is used while driving, it distracts the attention of the driver, leading to car accidents. While using a cell phone, many people miss the traffic signals, not really concentrating on driving. The process of dialing or answering the phone or messaging can make them lose control of the vehicle. Even though the driver is looking at the road, he or she can easily get distracted by the conversation. This can result in serious road accidents.

Another cause of accidents on the road is teenage drivers. Some teenagers cause very serious accidents, because of immaturity and lack of experience. Teenagers sometimes drive very aggressively or rashly. One hand driving, loud music and laid back seats in the cars are very normal with teenage drivers. All these acts result in serious consequences on the road. Many accidents by young drivers are as a result of their own mistakes.

Many drivers do not realize, drinking and use of cell phones is not healthy behaviour, this may cause serious accidents. These acts not only harm themselves however, it may harm other innocent people on the road. The car accidents caused by these problems are really serious but preventable. If everybody tries to eliminate these problems by following the rules of the road, driving can be less dangerous, and it will help decrease the number of deaths in car accidents.

Superstitions

Superstitions...What does superstitions mean? Superstitions in a wider meaning is, an irrational fear about something in which most of the people do not trust. In fact it is something different. In my country, there are majority of people who are superstitious. There are so many factors which make the people of India to be superstitious. The number 13, black cat crossing the path in front of you, when the pregnant women go out and eat something in eclipe time period etc.
During the time of eclipse pregnant women never comes out of her room. She doesn't eat and write anything in short she can not do anything during eclipse. It is said that if she go out, the rays will effect her baby and when the baby will born, he or she will have a black scar anywhere on the body. And if she write something during the eclipse, there will be something written anywhere on the baby's body. And after the eclipse is over the pregnant women has to take shower so that she can do whatever she want to do. Then only she can eat also after shower.
Not only this about the black cat crossing the path also make a person superstitious. It is said that if you are going on the way and a black cat passes your path, there will be a bad luck or something bad will happen with the person. The person can pass the path only after someone else pass that path first because that other person has not seen the black cat crossed the road so it is not a bad luck for him or her.
At last, the number 13 also makes people superstitious. The number 13 is not a lucky number. So people never do anything related to number 13. For example there will never be a 13th floor in a building of more than 13 floors. People will never prefer no. 13 for their house number, or in their phone number etc.
In my opinion, it is not good to be a superstitiuos but we have be careful about all this because if someone neglect this it may harm them. But I have seen people who never believe in superstitions, they are doing good. And their lives are also fine by God grace.

" GOD HELP THOSE, THOSE WHO HELP THEMSELVES"
Last week on Friday, I watched a movie "OMG - Oh My God". The movie is about beliefs in god and about those priest (sadhus) who use God for their business or for making money. The main hero in the movie doesn't believe in God but on the other hand his wife has such a belief in god that goes to temple everyday and fasts. He owns a shop where he sells God's Idols in India. He never trust God and abuses him by saying if God is one why can't we see HIM. He says till the time he himself sees GOD with his naked eyes he will not trust him.
But one day in an earthquake his shop vanishes. He is shocked after looking at his shop because no other shops in the market were harmed.  He visit to an insurance office to claim the insurance for his shop. But insurance people denied that they can not sanction the claim because of the "ACT OF GOD-Earthquake". So he decided to prosecute a case on GOD to get money for his loss. Every lawyer took him to be an insane that is why he want to case GOD. No lawyer want to take his case. Then someone suggest him to meet a person who was a lawyer in the past but now he is handicapped so he has no more cases in court. So he visit him, tells his whole story. The lawyer decide to help him. He write a summon for all the priest in India. But as no lawyer helped him for his case he himself defended his case against all the priest because he believes that priest are the lawyers of God. But no one was in his favor. Then an unknown man visits his home claiming that he bought his house, but he allows the hero to stay till he wins the case. That unknown person tried hard to make the hero start believing in god, but in vain. He still wants to continue the case. His logic and arguments about why he do not believe in God or priests  were strong and reasonable. People start believing that he is right.  And the unknown person is Lord Krishna himself. He help him for his case. And at last when he realise that he is about to win the case Lord Krishna took his breath. He got fainted in the court before the judgement of his case. He was taken to the hospital and for one month he was in coma. The priests on whom he did the case they took him as dead. And make an idol on him and start doing prayers and collecting money and jewellery on his name. Then lord krishna make him alive and showed him His real image of GOD. He then started believing in God because he wanted to see the GOD first to believe. He let the people know that priests are only making money by taking God's name. If one really have faith in GOD look inside urself. God is in Our heart, in ourself only.
I like the movie because this movie has showed the fake and real aspects of life. On the other hand. The dislikes are the way the hero who did the case on God, he disrespect the God in the whole movie.
GOD is unseen and can be believed from our Heart. GOD is not in any temple or in any idol nor in any picture. Believing in GOD has many benefits that you can see in every moment in your life even if you happy you have to thank GOD that he gives you the happiness and even if you are sad you have to thank GOD too that he did not make this sadness worse.

How many people survived the "Titanic"? This question comes to almost everyone's mind.  Most of us have seen 1997 film "Titanic", since it is the second highest grossing box office movie in history. This movie contains the elements of fiction. James Cameron, the film's director researched the pictures of Titanic, life during early 20th century and made the actual ship wreckage to portray many of the true events of the 1912 disaster. However it is a historical fiction, a mix of facts and fiction, but the director states this is not a bad thing as it has the educational purpose to the viewers.

The love affair between Jack Dawson, played by Leonardo DiCaprio and Rose Dewitt played by Kate Winslet, did that really happen? The answer is "NO". These characters are fictious and it is stated that during that time period in the early 20th century, the relationship between first class and third class passengers never happened. The director has showed this in the movie to entertain the viewers. Besides Jack and Rose, other characters were fictitious too, such as Rose's mother and fiance and Jack's friends. But some were based on passengers that were actually on the Titanic on that night, such as Margaret "Molly" Brown, and the head shipbuilder, Thomas Andrews.

One of the most disturbing or chilling points of the film was when the gates were locked and guarded to keep third class passengers from rushing to the decks when first class passengers were boarding the lifeboats. According to the book, there were no such barricades for the third class passengers. Apart from that it was shown in the movie that the gates were constantly closed, not just when the ship began to sink, but from the beginning because the third class passengers were not allowed to frequently go on the higher decks at any time. Another point, "The Heart of Ocean", the jewel that elderly Rose drops into the ocean at the end of the movie, is no way related to the true Titanic story.

In addition, lifeboat operators held flashlights to see if anyone floating in the water was alive or not, actually no lifeboats were equipped with flashlights.

Secondly,  One specific scene portrayed an actual character in original Titanic in 1912, was officer William Murdoch according to the book. In the movie, he accepts a bribe to let someone on a lifeboat ahead of others, he shoots two passengers and then shoots himself. No proof exists that any of the scene's events actually took place, they just came out of Cameron's imagination.

On April 14, 1912, the Titanic collided with a massive iceberg and sank in less than three hours. At the time, more than 2200 passengers and crew were aboard the Titanic for her maiden voyage to the United States. Only 705 survived. According to the builders of the Titanic, even in the worst possible accident at sea, the ship should have stayed afloat for two to three days.  At the time of construction, the Titanic was the largest ship ever built. It was nearly 900 feet long, stood 25 stories high, and weighed an incredible 46,000 tons.  The damage caused by the collision and the water flood six of the sixteen major watertight compartments. As water rushed into the starboard side of the ship's bow, the ship began to tilt down in front and slightly to the right. By midnight, water in the damaged compartments began to spill over into others because the compartments were watertight only horizontally and the walls extended only a few feet above waterline. By 1:20 a.m., water began flooding through anchor-chain holes. Around 2:00, as the bow continued submerging, the propellers in the stern were lifted out of the water. Flooding progressed until, at about 2:10, the bow of the ship was under water and the stern was lifted out of the water almost 45 degrees. Because of the tremendous weight of the three large propellers in the stern of the ship, the stresses in the ship's midsection increased immensely as the stern was lifted out of the water.

I like the movie "Titanic" because of the entertainment purpose and apart from that the educational purpose for all the viewers. Titanic is an amazing movie in my eyes, and in many eyes of others as well. But to others they might have a different opinion about this great movie. Some people hate this movie because it makes them realize their emotions too much for them to handle and that they are afraid to let themselves become one with the characters. According to my opinion the director of the movie never wanted to hurt people's emotions.

Narrative Essay :  PARENTS ARE DIVINE GIFT TO HUMAN BEING

What should parents do when their 8-years old child goes out from home without their knowledge or without their permission? Do they have to take serious actions against their child? I can not believe now that my parents were concerned for me. I was always an obedient child except for the one time.

I still remember that day, when I was 8 years old. My elder sister and her friend were going out to visit a doctor  that evening, and I also wanted to accompany them , but my mother didn't allowed me to go with them. I was very aggressive, so I decided to go with them anyhow. As soon as my sister left from home, I followed her without my parents knowledge and permission. But after following her for some time I was lost. When I failed to find them, I realized that it was beginning of my trouble that evening.
That was the first time I came out of my home without my parents or any elder person, and the place was also not familiar. I could not make sense of how to find my sister there or how to reach back home. I had no idea to whom I could ask about my sister. So I started crying. I had to find help to reach back home.
I tried to ask a few people passing for help, but all in vain as they all were in a rush. They just walked away. I was so annoyed that no one was helping me and I could not even remember the direction to my home. Then after some time, a lady asked if I needed any help as I was crying. I felt it was a chance for me to reach back home safely. She asked me where I lived, but unfortunately I was not aware of my address. Tears formed in my eyes again as I lost that chance to reach my home, and I realized that I should have listened to my parents.
She smiled kindly, took me by my hand to a shopkeeper, asking if that person knew me by-chance. The shopkeeper asked me my father's name, and he said he knew my father and where I lived. He gave me  hope again of reaching back home. He helped me to reach home safely.
When I reached home, my parents thank him for all his help. I also want to thank him for his courtesy but I was late to do so as he had left already.  I was very scared that my parents were going to yell at me for this act, but they made me realize that we should listen to what our parents say. Whatever they say, it is beneficial for us. They hugged me and kissed me on my forehead. I promised my parents and  myself that I would never do this again. Also, I realized that parents are a DIVINE gift to human being and I will never forget that terrible suffering in my life.
